How does online personal coaching work?Online personal coaching is a comprehensive fitness coaching service that involves me drawing on over 18 years of experience to design a training and nutrition programme that will help you achieve your goals and transform your body in a timely yet healthy manner. Your programme is designed on a bespoke basis based on the information you provided me with in your initial client questionnaire.

What do I get in my package?Bespoke training & nutrition plan – I will design your bespoke coaching plan from scratch within three to five days of your sign up. Each training week will show you exactly what workouts to do, the exercise selection you’ll need as well as why this training protocol has been chosen and how it’s positioned to serve your goal. Your programme will be delivered to you in 4 week blocks. Weekly and monthly check-ins – showing your accountability and maintaining your motivation. Supplement recommendations – tips on different supplements that may aid you in your goal. Exercise Video demonstrations – easy to follow videos to help you complete your exercises with correct technique so that you are safe and get the most from your movements. On-going support – All online personal coached customers will have unlimited in-app instant messaging support and email support from Grant personally.

How does my programme come to an end?This totally depends on you. It correlates strongly to whether or not you have achieved your end goal whether that be losing weight or transforming your physique. However many clients continue with their programme as it isn’t stagnant and focussed on a goal you may have already achieved but it changes with your body and your personal goals to continue your healthier lifestyle. The benefits of healthy living can be compelling and something you may not want to give up on.

Could you provide me with supplement advice?Yes, this will be part of your programme and as such will be bespoke to each individual client.

Do you help me with my medical conditions / injuries?As this is an online service, I’m not in a position to diagnose injuries. I would advise that you get in person medical advice on any injuries before starting your training programme. Medical advice is not a part of my service. To be clear, although my coaching programmes work toward optimal health they are not intended as a replacement for personalised medical advice.

Do I need to have gym access or fitness equipment to use the plan?No, because each programme is written on a bespoke basis I will work with whatever fitness equipment you have available to you. Where you do not have gym access and are in need of some pieces of equipment to achieve your goal, I will make those recommendations.

What are your qualification/achievements in the health & fitness industry?I am a certified gym instructor, personal coach and active wellness coach. Throughout my 7 year career working for Les Mills I became a certified Body Trainer, Body Box Instructor, Body Core Instructor, Body Revolution Coach, Bootcamp Instructor and Spartan Instructor. I became the 13th CrossFit affiliate owner in New Zealand when I set up CrossFit Dunedin gym and also went on to set up a second gym named CrossFit North D. I am a CrossFit Level 1 certified coach, CrossFit Weightlifting, CrossFit Kids, CrossFit Mobility and CrossFit Strongman certified coach. I have participated at the CrossFit regional competition in Sydney as part of the CrossFit Dunedin team. One of my proudest moments was coaching a CrossFit Dunedin member to 3rd place in the Masters Men CrossFit Games. I am a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certified coach and Precision Nutrition Level 1 Exercise Nutrition coach. Along with all of the above, 18 years’ experience and helping hundreds of clients achieve their goals and change their life is the best qualification of all.
